Exploring Historic Savannah, Georgia

In this video, we explore historic Savannah, Georgia. We stayed about an hour away at Jack Hill State Park and were in the area for 7 nights. We enjoyed learning the history of America’s first planned city. The city was laid out in a series of grids that allowed for open streets with shady public squares and parks that served as meeting places and centers of business. It originally had 24 such squares with 22 still in existence.
